Borussia Dortmund have doubled down on their stance that Erling Haaland will not be sold this summer.
Chelsea reportedly saw a bid for the striker turned down on Thursday as they look to add more firepower to their frontline.
The German side signed Haaland from Red Bull Salzburg 18 months ago and he has continued to thrive in the Bundesliga.
A host of Europe's top sides are now circling with Real Madrid and Manchester City also admirers of the Norwegian.
Chelsea were first to make a move however, but after their bid was rejected it was made clear to them that Haaland is not for sale.
Dortmund have previously had to warn off potential suitors when it comes to their star players.

Back in 2013 they made it clear that Robert Lewandowski, who had been a star in the Champions League, was not going to Bayern Munich despite their interest.
Back then the club's CEO, Aki Watzke, told Bild: "Robert Lewandowski will definitely not make the switch to FC Bayern in 2013. That's final. We have informed Robert and his agents now."
Their general manager, Michael Zorc, also told Ruhr Nachrichten : "We have informed the player and his agent that we will object to a switch to FC Bayern this summer. He has always been very professional so far. He has a flawless character"
Dortmund stuck to their guns and refused to let Lewandowski leave, instead preferring to let him go for nothing the following year.

That stance was also evident last year during their negotiations with Manchester United regarding Sancho.
The German side set a price and a deadline by which the move had to be completed by.
United were unable to seal a deal and Dortmund refused to entertain Sancho's departure.
It all points towards the Bundesliga outfit staying firm on their Haaland stance which could force Chelsea to look elsewhere.
Romelu Lukaku has been touted as another target for Thomas Tuchel, but the Inter Milan forward has underlined his commitment to the Italian side this summer.
Chelsea have also turned down the opportunity of signing Antoine Griezmann from Barcelona, according to reports.
The Blues boss has admitted he wants to add fresh faces having worked with the squad assembled by Frank Lampard last summer.
"Two or three could be very, very good," The German told reporters in May.
"It’s a constant thing to never deny change. That you always bring new energy, new guys who question the old beliefs, who challenge everybody in the training and in matches, so I think it’s a good thing."
