Chelsea's forgotten man sends Maurizio Sarri a message ahead of Liverpool game

Gary Cahill has sent Maurizio Sarri and Chelsea a message ahead of their game with Liverpool at Anfield as he shows support to his team mates despite not featuring.

The defender hasn't played for Sarri since November and has made only a handful of appearances in this campaign but he is still a big part of the group behind the scenes and on the training pitch.

He's also still captain and has shown his why the Chelsea players look up to him so much around Cobham with a good luck message to his team mates as they prepared to take on Liverpool in a crucial Premier League tie at Anfield.

'Let's spoil their title again!'- Chelsea fans go crazy for Sarri's starting XI against Liverpool

Cahill had the opportunity to leave Stamford Bridge in January but opted to stay and see out his contract that runs out in the summer, snubbing offers from the likes of Fulham.

He might not play again for Sarri but he is still very much part of the group at Chelsea and it's clear that the central defender wants his side to do as well as possible despite not featuring for the best part of five months.

Having lifted the FA Cup last season he still wants what is best for the side, and that's finishing in the top four.
