Man Utd target Can and Longstaff

Manchester United want to sign Sean Longstaff and Emre Can to ease their midfield problems in January.

Paul Pogba is set to undergo surgery once again on an ankle issue, whilst Scott McTominay has been sidelined for two months with a knee ligament injury.

As a result, Juventus outcast Can and Longstaff are both being targeted in this transfer window, according to ESPN .

Spanish outlet Marca also claim Atletico had called on Jorge Mendes, their "most trusted agent" to work on an exit strategy, with Arsenal named as their best hope.

Chelsea make Sancho decision

Chelsea have cooled their interest in signing Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund in January.

Manchester United are also monitoring the Englishman's future, although the Blues' interest has died down.

That's because they are focusing their attention on acquiring a new striker to compete with Tammy Abraham, according to The Sun .

Sancho would cost in the region of £120m for any club to purchase.
