Chelsea 'reject' £3m transfer bid for striker linked with Nottingham Forest

Chelsea have reportedly rejected a £3m bid for striker Ike Ugbo, who was linked with a loan move to Nottingham Forest, Derby County and Coventry City in the summer.

The 22-year-old is on loan in Belgium at Cercle Bruge where he has scored 10 goals in 15 games.

This has triggered a bid from Russian top-flight club FC Rostov, according to The Sun.

Ugbo has been at Chelsea since under-10 level and he helped the club to win the FA Youth Cup under Jody Morris, who is assistant to Chelsea's head coach Frank Lampard.

He has also represented England at youth level and is under contract at Chelsea until 2022.

Ugbo has had loan spells at Barnsley, Scunthorpe and in Holland with FC Roda.

He has represented England at U17 and U20 levels.
