It has already been a busy transfer window for Chelsea this summer.

But it is not only attacking areas that Chelsea are looking to improve this summer, with left-back identified as an area that needs strengthening.

Ben Chilwell has been a long term target for Lampard, and there has been a lot of talk around the future of the Leicester City full-back in recent days.

Dean Henderson boost

Chelsea are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper this summer, with a number of names being linked with the club.

A disappointing season for Kepa Arrizabalaga in the Blues’ goal has led to Frank Lampard searching for a replacement during the current transfer window.

Names that are said to be interesting Chelsea include Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak and Leicester City’s Kasper Schmeichel, while the Blues are said to be considering testing Manchester United’s reserve with an offer for goalkeeper Dean Henderson.

The 23-year-old had an impressive first season in the Premier League on loan at Sheffield United during the 2019/20 campaign, and the Blades were keen for the goalkeeper to stay at Bramall Lane for a bit longer.
