Here is your Chelsea morning digest on Thursday, December 24.
Haaland is the priority
According to Sky Sports Italia, Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland is Chelsea's top transfer target next summer.
Haaland has scored 33 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund since making the move from Red Bull Salzburg at the start of 2020.
With form like that, it's no surprise that some Europe's top clubs have expressed an interest in the Norway forward, and the Blues are one of them, this report claims.
The 20-year-old will be Chelsea's number one target next summer, with Declan Rice also of interest to Frank Lampard.
Blues to make big Barkley decision
Ross Barkley is currently on loan at Aston Villa from Chelsea, and Lampard may have to make a decision on the midfielder in the near future.
Sky Sports Italia journalist Angelo Mangiante has tweeted that the Blues could look to sell Barkley in order to fund potential new signings.
Roman Abramovich splashed more than £200million on new signings in the summer and the Russian billionaire is now looking to balance the books before he makes any more additions.
According to Birmingham Live, Barkley is open to joining Villa on a full-time basis after an impressive start to his loan spell with Dean Smith's side.

Lampard doesn't sense Werner frustration
Chelsea boss Lampard has insisted he cannot sense Timo Werner's frustration despite his goal drought.
Werner hasn't scored in his last nine outings for the Blues in all competitions, but the head coach does not see the German striker's frustration, if there is any.
Lampard said: "I talk to him all the time, I don't sense his frustration, I think it's clear that as a striker you want to be scoring regularly, as he has done in his career.
"But at the same time every striker has moments when the ball doesn't drop for you for whatever reasons.
"The positive thing is he's getting chances in games, he's using his attributes to get into the box, he's getting chances, so they'll come."
