Chelsea may have just tied midfielder N'Golo Kante down to a new contract, but they have plenty of decisions to make over the coming months.
While Cesc Fabregas and Gary Cahill, with their contracts up in the summer, look set to call time on their Stamford Bridge spells - both are linked with January moves to AC Milan - there are others for whom the decision will be tougher.
Rob Green and Willy Caballero will not cause too much of a headache, either way, while Lucas Piazon, following five loans in five years, is unlikely to stay.
However, having started every Premier League game under Maurizio Sarri, David Luiz looks set for a new contract after reviving his career in west London, while Olivier Giroud, despite still being a peripheral figure, will feel he has a case for a new deal come the summer, given the striking options currently available.
