Next to nothing to do until he was beaten. Let down by his defence in that instance.

Spent most of the match totally untroubled, but where was he when Rodriguez and Vydra combined for the equaliser?

So close to getting on the score sheet when heading against the post. And that miss proved vital when he watched Vydra fire home at the other end.
Toni Rudiger 6
Dominated for much of the game. Effective in the air in both areas, but will not be happy with Burnley’s goal.
Reece James 8
Goal-scorer last week, provider this. Burnley could not handle him on the right. Set up Havertz’ opener and Silva so nearly benefited from his delivery after the break.
N’Golo Kante 7
Enjoyed a bit of showboating amongst his usual physical dominance of midfield. Skipped out of a number of challenges when driving forward.
Jorginho 6
Not necessarily the type of game he would be expected to excel in, but cruised through the majority of this encounter.
Ben Chilwell 7
Flew forward whenever possible. If James did not get Burnley on the right, Chilwell was terrorising them on the left. One sweeping cross-field pass was a highlight.
Ross Barkley 7
Deployed in the No10 role and got loads of touches on the ball. A really positive performance to mark an unlikely turnaround in his Chelsea career. Should have scored just before going off.
Kai Havertz 6
Well-taken goal, but he should have added another in the second half when firing over from close range.
Callum Hudson-Odoi 6
Played as part of a front two and caused Burnley plenty of problems – forcing two saves from Pope and setting up Havertz for another chance.

If Tuchel wanted him to bring some more creativity, it did not really work out like that.
