'Chelsea played a blinder!' - Fans feeling smug as Eden Hazard falls short for Real Madrid again

It was a dramatic night for Real Madrid in the Champions League.

The Spanish side came away with a 2-2 draw against Club Brugge, but it was far from an easy point to be picked up.

Madrid were very poor in the first half as the Belgian side took a two-goal advantage in the break at the Santiago Bernabeu.

However a second half resurgence from Zinedine Zidane's side saw them battle back through goals from Sergio Ramos and Casemiro who were able to spare the teams' blushes.

While the Spanish giants did well to battle back, it was another performance that fell short of the huge expectations in Madrid.

Thibaut Courtois came in for criticism in the first half after a poor display, while many of Zidane's other stars were nowhere near performing at their full potential.

One of those players was Eden Hazard.

Things haven't gone to plan for the former Chelsea man since completing his move from Stamford Bridge, and this would have been the ideal scenario to show the supporters exactly what he's capable of.

Unfortunately for Hazard, it was another display that was a far cry from the match-winning displays we were used to seeing in west London.

Here's how the Chelsea fans responded to his performance.
