It's FA Cup fourth round weekend and Chelsea face Championship side Hull City in the day's late kick-off.
The Blues overcame another team from the second tier of English football in round three as they comfortably dispatched of Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge, but will be looking to avoid an upset away from home.
Head coach Frank Lampard experienced success in the competition as a player and he wants to do the same as a manager.
"We just want to win it. We just want to win it. We respect the FA Cup," he said in his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon.
"I do, the players do and this club has been fortunate to win it a number of times in the modern era.
"So we want to win it, I don't think we evaluate it like what's the best chance of us with top four and is it more important than the FA Cup. People will argue that but I don’t need to get into that battle.
"We are professionals so can we win the game and get to the next round."
The west London outfit go into the game on the back of a couple of disappointing results in the Premier League against Newcastle United and Arsenal.
However, they remain in pole position for the final Champions League spot and were given a massive boost in training ahead of the cup tie against Hull.
Midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek stepped up his recovery as he trained with the first-team on Friday. It's unlikely that he will feature against the Tigers, but the sight of him mixing with his teammates is great news for all connected to the club.
Reece James was also in training but he along with Tammy Abraham won't be risked this evening as Lampard appears to have one eye on next weekend's big game away at Leicester City.
Elsewhere, the Blues squad including the likes of captain Cesar Azpilicueta, Olivier Giroud, Marcos Alonso and Jorginho were put through their paces at the club's training base in Cobham on Friday afternoon.
