Chelsea picture special: Kante, Pulisic and Barkley train ahead of Ajax Champions League clash

With just one loss in their last nine games in all competitions, Chelsea are on a great run of form.

And next up is a Champions League clash against Ajax on Tuesday night, with both sides level on six points at the top of Group H.

Chelsea won a memorable game between the sides last month, claiming a 1-0 victory at the Johan Cruyff ArenA thanks to Michy Batshuayi's late goal.

Frank Lampard and his coaching staff put the squad through their paces ahead of the huge clash against last season's Champions League semi-finalists, and the players seemed to be in high spirits.

As an added bonus, Lampard welcomed back N'Golo Kante, Ross Barkley and Andreas Christensen, though Antonio Rudiger and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are still yet to arrive back in training.

Lampard stated before the win against Watford on Saturday that defender Rudiger is set to have more scans on his groin injury that has been keeping him out in recent weeks after he recovered from the serious knee problem that kept him out for five months.

However, Loftus-Cheek is still not ready for a return to first-team training, but his personal training has stepped up as part of his recovery process.

Youngster Billy Gilmour also took part in the session, though Marc Guehi was not involved.
