Chelsea picture special: Barkley, Lamptey and Jorginho train ahead of Nottingham Forest clash

It's FA Cup third round weekend and Chelsea are in action against Nottingham Forest this afternoon.

The Blues go into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw with Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on New Year's Day - a result which actually saw them extend their lead in the top four race to five points.

However, Frank Lampard's side have struggled at home of late.

Last month they suffered shock defeats against West Ham United, Bournemouth as well as Southampton which could give the Championship outfit some hope ahead of their trip to west London.

With Lampard laying low with illness, Chelsea assistant head coach Jody Morris spoke to the media about the team's worrying home form.

"We've certainly discussed it and it was mentioned a bit after the Arsenal game as well going into Brighton while realising that we do have to address our home form," Morris said in his pre-match press conference.

"I don't think it's just a physical or technical thing. The mental side of the game is when you're not performing at your best or have a run of games that's maybe the performance levels not being where they should be.

"You have to look at it and it will certainly be addressed before the game on Sunday, whether by video or having an open chat. We do have to get on top of our home form.

"It's something the manager has been looking at.

Lampard is expected to be in the dugout for this afternoon's game and the good news for him is that Fikayo Tomori and Olivier Giroud are set to be available for selection.

The former missed the Brighton game through illness, while the Frenchman hasn't featured since the West Ham loss. But both players were in full training ahead of he cup tie.

Elsewhere, the Blues squad including the likes of Jorginho, Andreas Christensen, Pedro, Tariq Lamptey and Ross Barkley were put through their paces at the club's training base in Cobham on Friday afternoon.
