Chelsea on TV: How to watch August TV fixtures - schedule, times and channels

Chelsea ran into a Jordan Pickford-inspired Everton on their last visit to Goodison Park, with the England keeper producing several stunning saves as the relegation-haunted Toffees eked out a crucial 1-0 win.

It helped ensure another Premier League campaign for Frank Lampard’s men, who are many pundits’ tips to fill one of the three relegation spots come May.

Shorn of Richarlison and with little success in the transfer market, the trip to Merseyside represents a winnable opener for Thomas Tuchel’s men and is one of four live TV outings for Chelsea in August.

Football.london has details of how you can catch them all.

Saturday, August 6: Everton vs Chelsea (5.30pm kick-off)

The Blues only took one point from the Toffees last term and will be desperate to improve upon that record in front of the Sky cameras this weekend. The game will be available to watch on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Ultra.

It’s too early to read much into the result but that won’t stop Sky Sports hyping this all-London clash as if it’s a title decider. It may, however, provide an early indication as to who are the most likely team to threaten Manchester City and Liverpool’s Premier League dominance. A draw then.

Again it’s Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Ultra for this one.

Sunday, August 21: Leeds vs Chelsea (2pm kick-off)

The Blues cruised to victory at Elland Road in May but it will be a much-changed Leeds side that lines up against them on August 21.

Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Ultra will keep you abreast of the Whites’ changes in personnel.

Tuesday, August 30: Southampton vs Chelsea (7.45pm kick-off)

Chelsea’s home clash with Leicester on August 27 takes on a traditional 3pm Saturday kick-off, meaning the Blues’ next TV outing comes as part of a full schedule of midweek fixtures.

One of four top-flight fixtures taking place on the same evening, it can be viewed on BT Sport 2.
