The countdown is on to the new Premier League season, with just ten days until Chelsea kick off their campaign against Manchester United.
The Blues face the Red Devils at Old Trafford on Sunday, August 11 in the final game of the opening weekend, with Frank Lampard set to make his bow as a Premier League manager.
Before that, Chelsea still have one more friendly to play, against Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday in Germany.
Ahead of that, we look at the latest news from Stamford Bridge, including what a former fans' favourite has said about the Blues' new head coach.
Frank Lampard's impact
Former Chelsea star Joe Cole believes Frank Lampard has "galvanised" his former club since his return.
Lampard succeeded Maurizio Sarri as the Blues' new head coach last month, after impressing in his first season in management at Derby County, who narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League, after losing to Aston Villa in the Championship play-off final.
But Cole, who played alongside Lampard at Chelsea, believes the Blues' all-time record goalscorer was exactly what the club needed.

“He’s galvanised the club. No one would have asked for the club to be handed a transfer ban, but it’s allowed them to take a step back,” Cole told talkSPORT .
“Frank’s the right man at the right time. Younger players in and around the building are seeing that they’re going to get an opportunity.
“Frank’s being very clever and he’s said he’s going to pick players that are ready.
“When you get the chance you have to take it, which is easier said than done when it comes to young players.”
Callum Hudson-Odoi's future
The future of Callum Hudson-Odoi has been one of the hot topics for Chelsea fans in recent weeks.
The 18-year-old has been locked in contract negotiations with the Blues in recent weeks, with reports that he had agreed a new five-year-deal with the club.
However, head coach Frank Lampard downplayed the reports, adding that while talks had moved on, it was not done yet.
"I think agreed would mean signed so we’re not quite there but what’s very clear is the club are working towards that," Lampard said. "Talks moved on very well in the last week or two but it’s not done yet.
"The one thing that’s clear to me is I want to keep him here. He’s a player we cherish.

"Players who come through the academy are the present and the future of the club so we’re doing everything we can to get there. I hope it’s news to be confirmed soon."
But while Blues fans are left waiting for official confirmation of a new contract, the player himself has teased Chelsea supporters on social media.
Posting a picture of himself in this season's Chelsea kit, he added a caption reading '19/20...'
And unsurprisingly, his post has got Chelsea fans talking.
It is not just Chelsea fans who have been calling for Hudson-Odoi to sign a new deal, with his team-mate Trevoh Chalobah also having his say on social media.
The problems still to solve
It has been a busy summer already at Chelsea, and Frank Lampard has had plenty to do.
But while he has already overseen a number of changes at Chelsea, with several young players leaving the club on loan, there is still more work to be done.
And it is a big week for Lampard as he takes the final decisions on his squad and how he wants his team to set up for the opening Premier League match against Manchester United on August 11.
The there are plenty of decisions to be made by the new head coach ahead of that massive first league game, and issues have come up that need to be solved before the match gets under way.
So what will Lampard be looking to fix in the final preparations?
Oliver Harbord has been looking at the six problems the Blues' head coach still has to solve, from set pieces to who plays in central midfield and who will start up front for the Old Trafford clash.
