Chelsea news: Reece James' message, Spurs trolled, the VAR difference and a warning

Chelsea staged a stirring comeback to draw 4-4 with Ajax on Tuesday, despite being 4-1 down in the second half.

The Blues snatched a point thanks to goals from Cesar Azpilicueta, Jorginho and Reece James, and even had a late goal to win it ruled out by VAR.

Speaking after the game, Blues head coach Frank Lampard was asked if he was disappointed or relieved at a result which leave the Blues level with Valencia and Ajax on seven points.

"Both," he said.

"I felt at half-time that the few times we conceded was a mix of sloppiness and bad fortune. I felt we were always in it. We are probably a bit disappointed not to win the last ten minutes."

The focus now switches to Saturday's game against Crystal Palace, as Lampard looks to make it six Premier League wins in a row.

Here's a round-up of all the latest Chelsea news from the last 24 hours.
