Mudryk recommends striker signing

Mykhailo Mudryk has encouraged Chelsea to sign Ukraine Under-21 teammate Georgiy Sudakov. The 20-year-old striker has been heavily linked with a move to the likes of Barcelona and Manchester City following his impressive performances for club and country.

The duo led Ukraine to a shock 3-1 win over France in the European Championship quarter-final. Speaking about his assist to the Shakhtar star after booking a place in the semi-final against Spain, the Blues ace said: "Usually it’s the opposite – he gives it to me and I score.

Then, when asked if he would like to see Sudakov at Chelsea, Mudryk replied: "That would be great."

The new Chelsea boss arrived in the car park of Cobham training ground, with Jesus Perez and Sebastiano Pochettino close by his side. A member of Chelsea staff opened the door of his vehicle for Pochettino to greet him with affection before saying 'morning,' to a group of people unsurprisingly awaiting his arrival.

The 51-year-old coach was soon becoming reacquainted with members of his coaching staff as he embraced both Toni Jiminez and Miguel D'Agostino before his attention turned to the direction of the building and some new introductions.
