Chelsea are embroiled in a four-way battle for Champions League football next season. The Blues, Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United are battling it out for the remaining two spaces in behind Manchester City and Liverpool.

The race is still anybody's to win with just a few fixtures of the season remaining, although Spurs did take advantage with a dramatic late win against Brighton on Tuesday night.

'Disgrace!' - Chelsea fans can't believe Reece James isn't in Championship team of the year

Here are the biggest news stories from Stamford Bridge in the last 24 hours.

Sarri charged with misconduct

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri was sent to the stands during the closing stages of the two-all draw with Burnley on Monday. Now he has been hit by a misconduct charge by the Football Association.

Sarri was the first Chelsea man to see red this season after leaving his technical area several times during the high-temper encounter, with tension boiling over as the full-time whistle was blown.

The Italian manager was reportedly upset with Burnley's time wasting tactics during the game, he is also claiming that he was called a 's**t Italian' by members of the Clarets' back room staff. An allegation that is being looked into by the FA.

Sarri has until Friday to respond to the charge.

Hudson-Odoi's message to Chelsea fans

It was revealed on Monday night that Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi would miss the rest of the season after he ruptured his archilles tendon in the first half of the draw with Burnley.

The 18-year-old underwent surgery on Tuesday night to repair the damage, and quickly took to his Instagram page to send a message to supporters.

"Hi guys, thank you for all the messages and support that you have been sending," he said.

"I really appreciate it. I am doing better and feeling better, so thank you very much and it's just the road to recovery now.

"Thank you."

Eden Hazard's future

There seems to be no end in the speculation over Eden Hazard's future. The Belgian international is wanted by Spanish giants Real Madrid, but the Blues have so far been able to resist any approaches made for arguably their best player.

But there is a sense that the 2018/19 season could be the 28-year-old's last season in the blue of Chelsea.

There is also an impending transfer ban hanging over the club, which could make them more reluctant to sell their star asset without a replacement lined up.

With the summer fast approaching, and the player's contract running out at the end of next season, what is the latest on his future at Stamford Bridge? Will Hazard still be a Chelsea player when the summer transfer window closes. Find out the latest news here.
