All eyes were on Gonzalo Higuain today as Chelsea's latest addition made his debut for the Blues in the FA Cup.
Higuain joined Chelsea on loan earlier this week to reunite with coach Maurizio Sarri, who has been looking for a top striker to lead the line all season - playing Eden Hazard as a false nine in recent weeks to make his feelings clear.
Chelsea duly moved to sign Higuain from Juventus until the end of the season, and the striker was involved from the off in the 3-0 FA Cup win over Sheffield Wednesday at Stamford Bridge.
The fate of Callum Hudson-Odoi is still uncertain, and the forward - who scored a fine goal against Wednesday - remained coy over his future and the interest of Bayern Munich following the match.
Elsewhere in the market, Chelsea are expecting the imminent loan departure of Alvaro Morata to Atletico Madrid following Higuain's arrival, while the Blues could still make moves in the January window given Cesc Fabregas' move to AS Monaco.
