Chelsea news: Lewandowski injury blow, contract bombshell, Giroud message to Gnabry

Chelsea are preparing for their Premier League clash against Bournemouth, with Frank Lampard and his side keen to bounce back from the 3-0 Champions League defeat against Bayern Munich.

Serge Gnabry and Robert Lewandowski were the goalscorers as the German side earned a comfortable victory at Stamford Bridge.

But with a top four place still at stake, the Blues will now be looking to pick themselves up and dust themselves down ahead of the trip to the Vitality Stadium.

William drops transfer bombshell after contract talks hit stumbling block

Willian has admitted he could leave Chelsea at the end of the season, with no resolution in sight over a new contract.

The winger's current deal at Stamford Bridge expires at the end of the season, with Chelsea ready to offer the Brazilian a two-year extension.

But Willian has publicly said that he wants a three-year deal in order to stay in west London beyond the summer.

Speaking to Esporte Interativo after the Blues' 3-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League, the midfielder said his Chelsea career could be coming to an end unless an agreement is reached.

Robert Lewandowski injury blow

Robert Lewandowski has been ruled out of the second leg of Chelsea's Champions League round of 16 tie against Bayern Munich after injuring his left knee during last night's 3-0 for the Bundesliga leaders at Stamford Bridge.

The Poland star scored Bayern's third in a dominant display but the club have now announced that he will miss four weeks of action following a small fracture.
