Chelsea news: Kante reveals all on injury and how the players celebrated Europa League triumph

Chelsea ended their 2018/19 season on a high on Wednesday night.

The Blues won European silverware to go with their third place Premier League finish by beating London rivals Arsenal by four goals to one in Baku, Azerbaijan.

While the celebrations among players and fans may still be going on, the focus of the backroom staff at Stamford Bridge will now be turning to this summer's activity both on and off the pitch.

Although there was some bad news for Chelsea, with Eden Hazard seemingly confirming his departure from the club this summer.

Kante reveals all on injury

Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has been talking to football.london on the injury that could have seen him miss the Europa League final. The Frenchman played through the pain barrier to play an influential role in the Blues' win over Arsenal.

, but the player admits that he was 'worried' before the match.

"I was a bit worried because I twisted my knee on Saturday," he said. "The staff did an amazing job to be ready for the final.

"I was ready to play and am happy for the team."
