Chelsea news: Frank Lampard on Lille and Carlo Ancelotti, possible Champions League opponents

Chelsea sealed qualification to the last-16 of the Champions League with a win against Lille on Tuesday night at Stamford Bridge.

The 2-1 win against Lille was enough to see them through, with goals from Tammy Abraham and Cesar Azpilicueta proving just enough after former Chelsea star Loic Remy grabbed a late strike to cut the lead.

Chelsea finished second in the group behind Valencia, and will now be facing a difficult fixture against one of the group winners in the last-16 - with former boss Maurizio Sarri a potential opponent.

Carlo Ancelotti sacked

Carlo Ancelotti has been sacked by Napoli, despite leading the Italian side into the knockout stages of the Champions League.

The Serie A side are without a win in the league since October 19 - a run of seven games.

Frank Lampard was asked about it in his press conference, stating: "I have huge respect for him, I am very sorry for him. I know it was a tough job for him lately..."
