Chelsea news: Eden Hazard decides future as Blues suffer dilemma over talisman

The end of the season is rumbling closer and Chelsea still don't know whether they stand with the transfer ban that has been placed on them.

The Blues are still waiting for the verdict on their appeal that began earlier in April with no date announced for the decision from FIFA.

Nevertheless, that has not stopped a number of transfer rumours and has only added to the uncertainty of Eden Hazard's future.

We've gathered all the latest Chelsea news for you to take a look at below:

Eden Hazard transfer latest

It appears Chelsea's talisman has made his mind up about his future even if he isn't quite ready to tell fans just yet.

Whether that's in the blue of Chelsea or in the white of Real Madrid is unclear at the moment but his brother Thorgan has had some interesting comments about the situation.

Chelsea drop huge hint about Eden Hazard's future despite Real Madrid links

Speaking to a news outlet in Belgium, as reported by HLN, he is quoted to have said: "Eden knows what he wants, I know what I want."

The last bit could be of relevance to the west London outfit as there is a chance they could lose one Hazard this summer, only to bring another back to the club.

Thorgan Hazard looks set to leave Borussia Monchengladbach when the transfer window reopens and  German publication Bild have stated that Maurizio Sarri's side can indeed buy him back.

David Luiz's dark arts

The other side of Luiz's game that has always been fun to watch is that the Brazilian knows when to be ever so sneaky when he needs to be.

That happened once again when Rudiger went down injured against Manchester United and Andreas Christensen wasn't allowed to be substituted on at the right time.

Chelsea were playing with ten men for a while, however Luiz went down with a 'groin injury' which meant the ball was kicked out of play. Christensen was able to come on, Luiz managed to 'recover' and Chelsea even got the ball kicked back to them.

Transfer worries

Speaking to BBC Sport, Shearer said: "I am more worried about what next year holds for the Blues, with a possible transfer ban and because Eden Hazard's future is so uncertain.

"If Fifa upholds its decision to stop Chelsea signing players in the next two windows, then the Blues have a big decision to make about Eden Hazard, who is entering the final year of his contract.

Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea receive top-four boost as Manchester United confirm blow

"Real Madrid will pay big money to sign him, but will there be more value for Chelsea in keeping him for another campaign even if he can walk away for nothing at the end of it?

"It would be a gamble to keep him, but it also a risk to let Hazard leave if they are not allowed to sign a replacement - because, without him, they are an extremely ordinary team."
