Here are your Chelsea morning headlines for Sunday, 5 July.
Blues boost on Havertz
Chelsea have been handed a boost by the news that Bayern Munich will not pursue a move for Bayer Leverkusen ace Kai Havertz.
There have been indications that the Germany international will be allowed to leave Bayer this summer for a fee of £90million, with the Blues among the clubs in the race.
As cited by the Express, Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told BILD: "We have a really big financial challenge ahead of us. "Even if we wanted the player, we could not finance it this year."
Bayer managing director Rudi Voller added: "There is nothing specific, nothing to report. Attention, fashion phrase!
"As of now, he is a player of ours. We have our ideas, we know what he can do. I personally hope that he stays one more year.
"We have an agreement: if it fits, he can go this summer."
Lampard gives Jorginho, Kante update
Blues boss Frank Lampard has given an update on N’Golo Kante’s injury and the absence of Jorginho against Watford.
Kante has been a fixture in the Chelsea team since the restart but limped out of Saturday’s win over the Hornets and is now a doubt for the trip to Crystal Palace.
Jorginho, meanwhile, has yet to play a minute of football since last month’s restart.
"Jorginho is in my plans and with N'Golo Kante, he got a small hamstring that we'll scan tomorrow to see how bad it is," Lampard said, as cited by football.london.
"We hope it's small, that's what I've been told so far but after the scan tomorrow we'll know. I'm guessing it will be a problem for Palace on Tuesday."
Pulisic filling Hazard void
The exit of Eden Hazard last summer would have had a lot of Chelsea fans worried, but Christian Pulisic has excelled in the Belgian’s role.

As highlighted by football.london, Pulisic has gained increasing prominence in Lampard’s side as the season has progressed.
The American runs directly at opponents and his tricky feet and speed mean he is often fouled, like Hazard was, to win free-kicks and penalties.
The 21-year-old was at the forefront of Chelsea’s attacking play against Watford following a series of star performances, and he continues to dazzle for Frank Lampard’s side.
