No Chelsea interest in Dybala
Chelsea will not be pursuing a move for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala in January, according to reports.
The Express cite a report from Italian outlet Calciomercato which claims that Roman Abramovich has no interest in signing Dybala.
That’s because Chelsea already have numerous options in attack following a significant summer outlay.
Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz all arrived at Stamford Bridge ahead of this season, so Chelsea are well stocked at the top of the pitch.
Lampard concern on fixture schedule
Frank Lampard has admitted it will be a “big challenge” for his side to challenge on all fronts this season due to a demanding fixture schedule.
This campaign is a month shorter than usual due to a late start, and Lampard has joined the growing number of voices concerned by such a tight schedule.
"That's always a big challenge for top clubs, even in normal seasons it's demanding on a squad to play as regularly as we are. And now it's even tighter," Lampard said, in quotes carried by football.london.
"Hence why a lot of managers now, particularly managers in Europe, are calling for more subs in the Premier League because I know these demands can take players to places where they are in real injury risk.
"So there are factors around it, but I don't want to dwell too much on that, we have to deal with what's in front of us and we do have a pretty fit squad at the moment."

Billy Gilmour has returned to Chelsea training after recovering from a serious knee injury and could be in contention for first-team minutes soon.
