Chelsea midfielder Luke McCormick is reportedly a target for Graham Alexander's Motherwell.
The Steelmen are undergoing a rebuilding job at Fir Park after key men Allan Campbell and Devante Cole left the club at the end of last season.
And according to the Scottish Sun, 22-year-old McCormick is being pursued by the Scottish Premiership side.
Motherwell would likely need to pay a fee to prise him from Stamford Bridge, although reports last month suggested the Blues could be willing to release him from his contract provided a high sell on clause was included in any deal.
McCormick has one year left on his Chelsea contract and spent last season in English League One with Joey Barton's Bristol Rovers, making 43 appearances on loan.
He scored six goals with two assists in 39 games and is also on the radar of Championship Millwall and fellow League One club Wimbledon.
