Chelsea manager Frank Lampard asked about Manchester United draw vs West Ham

Frank Lampard insists Chelsea are fully focused on the job in hand after Manchester United drew with West Ham on Wednesday night.

United's point took them above Chelsea in the league ahead of their game against Liverpool, as the two clubs vie for Champions League qualification.

The draw at Old Trafford means both Chelsea and United only need one point from their remaining fixtures to ensure they qualify for the top European club competition next season.

United will secure a top-four spot if they avoid defeat at Leicester on Sunday, while Chelsea must avoid defeat once against either Liverpool or Wolves.

United's draw with Chelsea boosts the London club's chances of Champions League qualification but Lampard batted away questions about United's result before Chelsea's game at Liverpool.

“We know the situation and we can only control ourselves,” he told Sky Sports. “We have to be at our best. Liverpool have won the league so convincingly but we have shown in the three games we have played against them [European Super Cup, Premier League, FA Cup] that we can compete with them.”
