Chelsea have announced their player of the year for the 2020/21 campaign.
It could yet be a memorable season for the Blues as they look to wrap up a top four finish in their final two Premier League games before taking on Manchester City in the Champions League final.
A second Champions League title would make sure this Chelsea squad have a place in history, despite a difficult start to the campaign which saw Frank Lampard lose his job.
In the end, however, Chelsea have come good under Thomas Tuchel, and there have been a number of impressive performers, including some of the new signings like Hakim Ziyech and Thiago Silva.
Meanwhile, some of the club's young talent have also stolen the show with Mason Mount and Reece James becoming almost guaranteed starters this term.
And it's the performances of Mount that have stood out for supporters, who have voted the young midfielder as Chelsea's men's player of the year.
Mount has been almost irreplaceable under Lampard and Tuchel, making a mammoth 51 appearances across all competitions, a tally that is likely to end up on 54 when all is said and done.
The 22-year-old has managed nine goals and eight assists, but his impact has been far greater than scoring and providing goals in that Blues midfield.
And that is something the Chelsea fans have recognised having voted for the winner of the player of the year.
Mount follows last year's winner Mateo Kovacic in winning the award, while the now departed Eden Hazard had won four of the last six before Kovacic, along with Willian and N'Golo Kante.
Mount will be hoping to celebrate his award with another fine performance tonight when Chelsea take on Leicester City in a crucial clash in the race for a top four finish.
