Chelsea make Edinson Cavani transfer decision as Billy Gilmour mistake highlighted

Here is the latest Chelsea morning digest for Sunday, June 14.

Havertz injury update

Kai Havertz remains a doubt for Bayer Leverkusen's game against Schalke on Sunday, but has returned to light training.

The newly-turned 21-year-old is wanted by Chelsea along with several other European giants including Bayer Munich.

Cavani deal given greenlight - but Blues don't want him

Edinson Cavani is finally free to sign for Chelsea, with the Uruguayan striker set to leave PSG.

He is now set to leave PSG after years of speculation linking him with numerous Premier League clubs.

Yet Football.London understands Chelsea have no interest in renewing their interest in a player who has some high wage demands.

Yet it was another example of how highly rated the 19-year-old is at the Blues, that Morris had no qualms of giving the youngster a bit of stick.

The way that Gilmour has thrown himself into life in the Premier League with Chelsea cannot be understated, with some impressive performances under Frank Lampard.
