Chelsea legend John Terry reacts on Instagram after Ruben Dias sends special present

John Terry has been interacting with a potential threat to Chelsea's hopes of winning the Champions League for a second time.

The Blues are in action on Wednesday night as they take on Real Madrid in their semi-final decider.

Following a 1-1 draw in Spain last week, a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge will be enough to book Chelsea's spot in a third Champions League final by virtue of the away goals rule.

And should Thomas Tuchel's side keep yet another clean sheet, they will set up an all-English final against Manchester City - whom they beat in the FA Cup semi-final - later this month.

City reached their first-ever final in the competition on Tuesday with a 2-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain.

Leading 2-1 from the first-leg, Riyad Mahrez netted a brace at the Etihad Stadium to ensure Pep Guardiola returns to a Champions League final for the first time in a decade.

Whilst it was a brilliant team performance from Man City, one player in particular caught the eye of Terry.

Taking to Instagram after the final whistle, the former Chelsea captain was full of praise for Ruben Dias who was excellent alongside John Stones to nullify the threat of Mauro Icardi, Neymar and Angel Di Maria.

"How good was this man last night @RubenDias," Terry said.

"Thanks for the shirt my friend."

The shirt Terry has referred to is a special present from Dias.

A message reads: "Big respect to one of my biggest examples."

And just like Terry did in 2012, Dias will be looking to win the Champions League on May 29 at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium, Turkey.

But will that be against Chelsea or Real Madrid?

That question will be answered at around 10pm as long as the Blues stop the likes of Karim Benzema, Eden Hazard, and Vinicius Junior from scoring.
