Former Chelsea player and manager Frank Lampard is currently the bookmakers' early favourite to become the Canaries' new manager, following Daniel Farke's surprise sacking.

Despite the fact that the newly-promoted side picked up their first three points of the season yesterday at Brentford in a 2-1 victory, performances and results have been deemed not good enough, which has led to the German leaving his role at the club with immediate effect.

Chelsea manager makes fresh Burnley claim

Thomas Tuchel brands Sean Dyche's Burnley 'lucky' in yesterday's 1-1 stalemate at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues were by far the better team over the course of 90 minutes, creating plenty of chances and dictating the tempo of the game.

But with the home side only managing to acquire one goal, the Clarets were always well and truly in the fixture and just before the 80th-minute mark, substitutes Jay Rodriguez Matej Vydra combined effectively, with the latter notching in the equaliser.
