Mateo Kovacic is Maurizio Sarri’s only major injury concern going into Saturday’s clash with Tottenham.
The Croatian midfielder, on loan from Real Madrid, is rated as a doubt for the London derby after picking up a muscle injury during the international break.
That setback occurred in the 3-2 victory over Spain, and saw the 24-year-old miss the Uefa Nations League clash with England at Wembley Stadium.
He did take part in training on Wednesday, and is expected to face a fitness test ahead of the game.
If unavailable, Ross Barkley would be expected to deputise alongside Jorginho and N’Golo Kante, with the Frenchman having a signed a new five-year contract on Friday, believed to be worth £290,000 a week.
Aside from Kovacic, Sarri has no other injury concerns heading into the match as they look to defend their unbeaten start to the 2018-19 campaign.
