Chelsea will reportedly turn their attentions towards Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman this summer as a potential replacement for Christian Pulisic.
Pulisic only joined the Blues in 2019 but has never managed to nail down a regular place in the starting line-up at Stamford Bridge.
The United States international has yet to start a game under new manager Thomas Tuchel, and it is looking increasingly likely that he could leave at the end of the season.
If that does happen, according to the Daily Mail Coman would be top of their list of possible options to take his place.
The 24-year-old French international has two years left on his current deal at Bayern, but Chelsea have been keeping tabs on him for some time.
Coman, who scored the winner in last season's Champions League final, is believed to be keen on a transfer away from Bavaria, and has not expressed any interest in extending his contract.
And he opened the door to a move to England recently when he was being linked to the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City.
Speaking to BILD in January he said: "It's good to know that good teams are interested in me, it gives me additional confidence."
If Pulisic does leave it would be a hugely disappointing end to an unwhelming spell in West London.
So far this season he has made nine Premier League starts and come off the bench as a substitute a further nine times.
Yet he has managed just one goal and one assist, and has been frequently outshone by the likes of Mason Mount and Callum Hudson-Odoi.
The likes of Liverpool and United could well be interested in Pulisic, and it would be intriguing to see if he decides to stay in England or make a fresh start in another league.
