Atletico Madrid are pressing ahead with their efforts to sign Renato Veiga from Chelsea but are expected to face competition from two Premier League clubs.
Standard Sport understands two unnamed top-flight clubs in England also hold an interest in Veiga and are weighing up whether to rival Atletico for the defender.
Atletico are already in talks with Veiga’s representatives as they try to sign the 21-year-old, while Bayern Munich are monitoring his situation.
Veiga is one of the players Cheslea consider a priority sale this summer.

The Blues are holding out for more than €40million (£34.6m) for the defender, who is interested in the proposed move to Atletico.
Chelsea only spent £12m to sign Veiga from Swiss club Basel last summer so are hoping to make considerable profit when moving him on.
They will be pleased there are currently four clubs with active interest in Veiga, as this could help to drive up the fee they eventually recoup on the Portugal international.
Veiga spent the second half of last season on loan at Juventus, where he featured at centre-back and occasionally at full-back or as a defensive midfielder.
Attempts by Juventus to sign him outright never materialised.
