Gunners get their Man

Arsenal are ready to hand Chelsea a significant blow by moving to activate the release clause of Roma defender Kostas Manolas, Il Messaggero reports, with the Blues shackled by a transfer ban.

A move for the 27-year-old would cost the Gunners a pretty sum of £31.5m but could be exactly what they are looking for to strengthen what has been a leaky defensive line in recent seasons.

Sarri move is black and white

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is being considered by Juventus and reports state that discussions between the two parties may have begun - with fans may actually be pleased with.

Despite guiding Chelsea to a top-four finish and the Europa League final, the former Napoli boss is an unpopular figure at Stamford Bridge however the situation would leave the Blues managerless and in the midst of a transfer ban.

Alonso heading home

Chelsea may also face a fight to retain the services of full-back Marcos Alonso, as Spanish outlet AS claims that Atletico Madrid are eyeing a move for the established defender.

Given Chelsea’s FIFA-imposed transfer ban, such a move would leave a huge void in the Blues’ squad that they would struggle to fill.

Tottenham line up familiar face

Tottenham Hotspur may have been handed an avenue to bring Gareth Bale back to north London, according to reports cited by Sport Witness , with the Welshman looking set to leave Real Madrid.

Having been frozen out of the squad for the last two LaLiga matches, a return to the Premier League is being heavily suggested.

Spurs are also eyeing a move for Celta Vigo star Okay Yokuslu, Turkish-Football states , although they face competition in the market from London rivals West Ham.
