Chelsea have been told how much it will cost to seal Kingsley Coman transfer ahead of Liverpool

Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich have slapped a whopping £86million price tag on France international Kingsley Coman in a bid to fend off interest for his services this summer.

The winger, who was a member of the France side that was knocked out of Euro 2020 on Monday evening, losing 5-4 to Switzerland on penalties at the last-16 stage, has been closely linked with a move away from the German outfit in recent weeks, including a move to Chelsea.

The Blues, according to reports, have been monitoring Coman and see him as a possible option to strengthen Thomas Tuchel's attacking options this summer, although signing an out-and-out winger is not thought to be a main priority for the Blues.

However, Coman has put Chelsea, alongside Liverpool and Manchester United, on red alert as he, reportedly, wants to leave the Allianz Arena this summer, despite having two years remaining on his current contract.

Although the Blues are considered as an interested party in Coman's signature, it is Liverpool that are believed to be the club leading the chase, certainly in terms of the Premier League clubs showing an interest.

However, despite tabling a reported bid of £40m for the former Juventus man, Bayern, according to Sky Germany, as cited by the Metro, are holding out for a fee of around £86m.

That is a fee well within Chelsea's financial capabilities this summer, but the chances of them pursuing a move for the 25-year-old at that price, especially when he is not considered as a top, top target, is unlikely.

Tuchel's top priority this summer is signing a proven striker, with Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland at the very top of his wish list.

As well as wanting to sign Haaland, Tuchel also has his eye on Wolverhampton Wanderers star Adama Traore, who would provide competition for Reece James at right wing-back, and West Ham United ace Declan Rice.

With all of that in mind, it does seem unlikely that a move for Coman would be considered.
