Chelsea's quest to qualify for next season's Champions League has been boosted by the fact that top-four rivals Leicester City face an injury crisis ahead of their final clash.
The Foxes go toe-to-toe with Manchester United in Sunday's final day of the season, where the winners of the tie will secure their spot amongst Europe's elite next season.
Chelsea, who face off against Wolves at Stamford Bridge, know that their fate is in their own hands and a single point would be enough to secure a top-four spot.
However, should Wolves win, there is a possibility that Chelsea could slip out of the top-four if Leicester secure a result against United.
A point for Leicester, alongside defeat for Chelsea, would see the Foxes sit above the Blues on goal difference, while a win would put them two points ahead of Frank Lampard's side.
However, Leicester have suffered a huge blow ahead of their match as Brendan Rodgers has revealed his squad will be without six players for the game, with only Marc Albrighton returning from their list of recent absentees.
"We’ve had a really good week," Rodgers said during his pre-match press conference. "The guys rested for a few days, which I think we needed.
"We’ve had a good week’s training. Our first free week. We arrive fresh into the game.
"It's be virtually the same squad. We’ll be ready.
"Albrighton is back. He'll have a late fitness test, but he should be back."
James Maddison, Ben Chilwell, Christian Fuchs, Daniel Amartey and Ricardo Pereira are all sidelined through injury, while Caglar Soyuncu cannot feature due to suspension.
