Chelsea given big Champions League advantage as February fixture changes are confirmed

Three of Chelsea's four Premier League matches in February – including the away clash against Tottenham Hotspur – have been rescheduled after being selected for live coverage by Sky Sports and BT Sport in the UK.

In a month that will see Chelsea return to Champions League action against Borussia Dortmund in the last 16, the Blues have been handed favourable kick-off times by the two broadcasters.

The west London derby against Fulham at Stamford Bridge has been brought forward to Friday, February 3, and will now kick off at 8pm UK time. The match will be shown live by Sky Sports.

In what is an undoubted boost ahead of the first leg against Borussia Dortmund, which will take place at the Westfalenstadion on February 15, the difficult trip to face West Ham United at the London Stadium will now kick off at 12.30pm on Saturday, February 11, and be screened live by BT Sport. The early kick-off will ensure the Blues have ample time to prepare for their Champions League clash.

The Blues round off February against Antonio Conte's Tottenham. When the two sides faced off earlier in the campaign at Stamford Bridge, tempers flared between the Italian coach and Thomas Tuchel, who had to serve a touchline ban for his actions after the full-time whistle.

There will be no Tuchel in the dugout – the German coach has since been replaced by Graham Potter – when the two top-four hopefuls face off on Sunday, February 26. That match will kick off at 1.30pm and be shown on Sky Sports in the UK.
