Chelsea fixtures: Where the top four battle with Arsenal and Man United will be won and lost

Chelsea were handed a major boost in their quest for a top four finish in the Premier League on Wednesday evening after both Manchester United and Arsenal fell to defeats.

United were beaten 2-0 in the Manchester derby by Manchester City to make it seven defeats in their last nine games while Arsenal's awful away form continued as they were beaten 3-1 by Wolves.

That leaves Chelsea in the driving seat in fourth spot, one point ahead of the Gunners and three ahead of United with just three games left to play in the season.

Where will the battle for the top four be won?

It all starts with United vs Chelsea on Sunday in a game that can effectively kill off Manchester United's hopes of a top four spot.

A win for Chelsea would put them six points ahead of United with two games left to play with the Blues having a better goal difference.

Next up comes Watford in what will be a tricky game for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge with the Hornets having a good season this year, but they may have one eye on the FA Cup final when they come to visit.

A final day away game with Leicester City also represents another tricky tie but there is hope when you look at Arsenal's fixtures.

They face two tough away games too at the Kingpower and then at Burnley on the final day of the season, and with their away form being what it is Chelsea have a very good chance of finishing the season in fourth and claiming a Champions League place next season.
