Chelsea are kicking off a new era this summer as the Blues prepare for life back in the Champions League for the 2019-20 season.
There are big changes going on at Stamford Bridge this summer, with manager Maurizio Sarri and star player Eden Hazard leaving for Juventus and Real Madrid respectively.
However, Sarri and Hazard's parting gift was a Premier League top-three finish along with a Europa League triumph, ensuring silverware along with a seat back at European football's top table for the coming campaign.
The Blues are now looking to the past in order to rebuild with Petr Cech returning as technical and performance advisor, while Frank Lampard is set to become the new head coach.
While Chelsea's initial pre-season schedule may look a little thin, there is plenty of room for more games to be added when - as expected - Lampard is confirmed as the boss.
