Willy Caballero
A pretty easy run out for him. Not really tested throughout the half except for one shot that was straight at him. A couple of times he came out well to claim the ball. 5
Dujon Sterling
Caught out early on, but looked to get high up the pitch and help the attacking phase, however didn't really contribute too much to that in the end. 5
Cesar Azpilicueta
Will unlikely be centre-back in the future for Lampard, filled in and was pretty solid as usual. Looking to be aggressive and win the ball quickly. A couple of times out of position. 6
Marc Guehi
Looked composed next to Azpilicueta and dealt with any danger pretty well. Did a decent job of covering Kenedy when the Brazilian was out of position. 7
Kenedy
Not really a left-back and it showed again. Some really good play going forward, assisting for the goal. But then caught out of position on several occasions. A mixed display. 6
Ethan Ampadu
Playing in midfield and was aggressive from the start. Some lovely balls played out wide as well. From everyone, looked the most up for the contest and really put his foot in. 8
Conor Gallagher
Linked up nicely with the front man at timmes, playing just behind Batshuayi and getting into the box well. Missed one good chance when he fired over the bar. 7
Danny Drinkwater
His first game since the Community Shield and it take him a bit of time to get into the match. Looked rusty, but then grew into the game as the half continued. 6
Pedro
Not really in the game that much and trired a few things but was pretty easily snubbed out. It was just a bit too simple for him to be nullified. One awful free-kick over the bar. 4
Kasey Palmer
A lot of energy from the winger, trying to link up with Batshuayi, but didn't really come off a lot of the time. A couple of nice touches and tried to get into good positions. 5
Michy Batshuayi
Lucky that the ball bounced to him in the box, but he took his goal really well. Some nice runs as well, but wasn't found at times and was frustrated by that. 8
