Chelsea FIFA 20 squad update released amid changes for N'Golo Kante and Ruben Loftus-Cheek

With the 2019/20 Premier League season on hold for now, it's clear to see that Chelsea have a successful campaign so far, with Frank Lampard's side sitting in fourth place with just nine games to go.

But despite some impressive performances from the club's young talents, one of their most talented experienced players N'Golo Kante hasn't quite performed at the level of recent seasons, in a campaign that has also been hampered by injury.

And now he's been given a significant downgrade on FIFA 20 in their latest squad update.

Here is a summary of the changes to the Chelsea squad on FIFA 20 as of April 2, 2020.

Chelsea FIFA 20 squad update

N'Golo Kante

Kante has been given a downgrade in the latest update, with the Frenchman's potential being reduced from 90 to 89.

The midfielder has also had the 'Solid Player' trait removed from his profile.

In-game, this trait means that a player 'has a reduced chance of getting injured when a collision occurs.'

The removal of this trait makes it more likely that Kante will get injured during a game.

Michy Batshuayi

Belgian stiker Batshuayi has also been downgraded, after not featuring regularly for the Blues in recent months.

Batshuayi has often been finding himself on the bench, with Tammy Abraham preferred up front and in recent weeks, Olivier Giroud given the nod ahead of him.

And the Belgian has seen his reactions (79-78) and stamina (65-64) both reduced on the game.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Loftus-Cheek has had a small downgrade, with the midfielder's stamina (75-74) seeing a slight decrease.
