Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is fit to face Liverpool tonight, but is only among the substitutes as Thiago Silva remains sidelined after failing to fully recover from a thigh injury.
Hudson-Odoi was substituted at half-time of Chelsea’s goalless draw with Manchester United on Sunday and later emerged with strapping on his leg.
Tuchel had hoped Thiago would also be involved for such a key fixture – but the club’s medical staff have advised to take a cautious approach to the Brazilian’s return.
Elsewhere, Timo Werner leads the line while Ben Chilwell starts on the left flank, with Reece James on the right.
