Chelsea FC XI vs Crystal Palace: Starting lineup, team news - Jorginho, Mount, Pulisic start; Lukaku, Ziyech out

Chelsea are without N’Golo Kante for their Premier League opener against London rivals Crystal Palace this afternoon.

Thomas Tuchel revealed only that the France international has “issues” following his exertions in the Uefa Super Cup clash against Villarreal on Wednesday that went to extra time and penalties.

Hakim Ziyech will be out for two weeks with a shoulder injury sustained in Belfast, but will not have to undergo surgery.

Romelu Lukaku is also unavailable to make a second debut following his £97.5million move from Inter Milan as he observes quarantine due to Covid-19 UK entry restrictions.
