Chelsea will be expected to get their Champions League title defence back on track against Malmo tonight.
The holders kicked off Group H with a narrow win over Zenit, but later lost ground after a listless defeat to Juventus in Turin in which Federico Chiesa scored the winning goal just 10 seconds after the restart.
Thomas Tuchel’s side have won both of their Premier League matches since suffering those back-to-back defeats at the hands of Manchester City and Juve, with their defensive resolve on full display in an extremely hard-fought 1-0 west London derby triumph at Brentford at the weekend.
They should now be able to ramp up their attacking qualities against a Malmo team that have conceded seven goals and scored none in their two group games so far, going down 4-0 in Russia last time out.
