Chelsea fans won't believe what Diego Costa has done again as row with Atletico Madrid escalates

Diego Costa's spell at Atletico Madrid looks set to come to an end this summer.

The 30-year-old is currently banned for eight matches which will take him up until the end of the season after his comments towards the referee during the recent defeat to Barcelona .

Official Gil Manzano claimed in his match report that Costa twice said to him "I s*** on you w**** mother" with video evidence damning for the striker.

Spanish publication AS is now reporting that Costa has refused to take part in training.

The club Alvaro Morata turned down before sealing Atletico Madrid loan move in January window

He was at the club's training ground on Thursday and he did not part in the session despite not being injured.

His long-term future at Atletico now looks uncertain with Alvaro Morata taking his place after arriving from Chelsea in January transfer window.

Costa has only found the net five times this season although he is contracted until 2023.

Boss Diego Simeone appears to be running out of patience with Costa and the report suggests that he will be made available for sale at the end of the season.

China could be an option for the striker who left Chelsea for Madrid in 2017.
