Chelsea fans won't be happy with Thibaut Courtois hint at Eden Hazard's Real Madrid breakthrough

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois recent activity on social media is not likely to go down too well with Blues fans.

Courtois' International and former club teammate Eden Hazard looks set for a move away from Chelsea after a long protracted transfer saga. The Belgium international is expected to join the goalkeeper at Real Madrid in the coming days, in a deal that is expected to be worth over £100million.

Chelsea fans would have been hoping that the club could hold onto their star player this summer, especially as they are likely to be serving a transfer ban issued by FIFA, but their hopes were seemingly dashed when the player himself confirmed that he was confident of leaving Stamford Bridge this summer.

"Yes, I think it's a goodbye," he told BT Sport after the Europa League win against Arsenal. "But in football you never know.

"My dream was to play in the Premier League, I did this for seven years, and in the biggest club in the world.

"Now maybe it's time for a new challenge."

Ahead of the imminent move, Courtois has liked a tweet that promotes Real's signing of his fellow Belgian, something that Chelsea fans may not take too kindly too.

The liked tweet, from a Real Madrid fan account, has a video of Hazard scoring for Chelsea against Arsenal with the caption reading 'tic tac' with a timer emoji.

Whether or not they are club teammates at that time, Hazard will link up with international friend Courtois during the summer when they both join up with the Belgium national squad.
