Christian Pulisic says it is "amazing" to be working alongside Frank Lampard at Chelsea.
The USA international has linked up with his team-mates this summer, having signed from Borussia Dortmund in January, only to be loaned back to the Bundesliga side for the second half of last season.
But he has now joined the Blues squad in Japan ahead of Chelsea's pre-season friendly against J-League side Kawasaki Frontale on Friday, cutting short his holiday to link up with the team as he looks to impress new head coach Frank Lampard.
And ahead of his bow in a Chelsea shirt, Pulisic has endeared himself to the fans with his comments about his new boss and the Blues.
Pulisic told GAFFER Magazine : 'When I think of this club, there's a lot of great players that come to mind. I grew up watching Frank Lampard and all of those guys at the top of their game in the Premier League and in the Champions League.
"To me, Chelsea were always one of the biggest teams and now to be playing here, it's really come full circle from that moment. It feels amazing."
Meanwhile, Pulisic has given Chelsea fans an insight into what to expect from him as he prepares for his first season in England, with the 20-year-old keen to make his mark in the Premier League.
And he is confident that he can do just that, with Pulisic describing his excitement at the season ahead as Chelsea look forward to their return to the Champions League.
Pulisic added: "I think I have a lot of speed and creativity that I can bring to the game; quickness and different attacking abilities that can really help the team.
"I think I have some tools that can really do well in this league [Premier League]. I just can't wait."
