Chelsea fans will love what the official Twitter account posted about Tottenham

It is certainly a good time to be a Chelsea fan, as Frank Lampard's side took another stride towards a top-four finish with a victory against Crystal Palace.

A professional performance from the Blues saw Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic score in the second half to keep the side ticking, extending their advantage in the battle for Champions League football.

With Arsenal losing to Leicester City and Tottenham drawing with Sheffield United, a spot in Europe's elite competition looks to be slipping away from Chelsea's London rivals.

After 12 matches, the Blues hold an eight-point lead over Arsenal and remarkably have a 12-point advantage over Spurs, who sit in the bottom-half of the standings.

Chelsea will be tested significantly after the international break when they lock horns with a Manchester City side who will be looking to make a statement after defeat to Liverpool at Anfield but there are many reasons for the Blues to be happy.

The club's media team are certainly enjoying the performances, as they brilliantly trolled Spurs on social media heading into the final international break of the year.

"A look at the top 14 of the Premier League after 12 games," they posted on Twitter, alongside an image of the league table - with Spurs tucked in right at the bottom of the graphic.
