Chelsea fans will love what N'Golo Kante has said about Frank Lampard's team ahead of Man Utd

N'Golo Kante believes that the Chelsea squad is good enough to challenge for the Premier League title next season under Frank Lampard.

The Blues currently sit in fourth place in the Premier League and will be aiming to hold onto that position until the end of the season in order to ensure Champions League football is back at Stamford Bridge during the 2020/21 campaign.

Frank Lampard's team have received a potential boost to them hopes with the news that Manchester City are facing a two-season ban from the competition, meaning that fifth place will result in qualification. However, City are determined to get the punishment overturned by taking an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Lampard: Manchester United and Tottenham are huge games

Chelsea face Manchester United on Monday evening in what could be a crucial match in the race for the Champions League spots with just six points separating the two sides in fourth and ninth.

Ahead of the game, Kante is confident that the Blues have enough quality in their squad in order to achieve their aims this season and go one better the following campaign.

"I believe we have the team to get what we want this season - to finish in the top four, get Champions League football next season and why not to win a title as well. We have everything that we need in this team," he told the club's official website.

Lampard has already made a transfer move ahead of the summer, with Chelsea agreeing a deal for Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech who will arrive at Stamford Bridge in the summer.

The Blues however will have a big gap to make up if they wish to challenge for the title next season, with Liverpoool 35 points ahead of them at the top of the table.
