Chelsea fans will love what Mason Mount's dad has said after Spurs victory

It was a big match for Frank Lampard, Jose Mourinho and their teams.

When Tottenham take on Chelsea there is always an extra bit of bite.

But there was added spice to this contest at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium given Jose Mourinho, Chelsea's most successful ever manager, was in the dugout of their big rivals.

Mourinho had previously said at Chelsea that he would never manage Spurs, but here he is, in N17, trying to take his new team to the levels he reached with the Blues.

Added onto the derby clash was the fact that Chelsea had been in a rut and with victory Spurs could move above them in the Premier League table.

However, it was Chelsea who turned on the style, putting one over on the 'Special One' to move six points ahead of Spurs in the table.

And they were well worth it too, with two goals from Willian securing the three points against a Tottenham team who finished with ten men after Son Heung-min was sent off.

There were plenty of standout performances from Chelsea players on the day in N17, with Mason Mount among those to impress.

And while he impressed on the pitch, his dad has impressed on social media after the match.

Given all the furore around Mourinho's past and present, Mount's dad Tony will make Chelsea supporters smile with what he said on Twitter on Sunday night.

The tweet was short and sweet, simply saying 2-0, with an emoji face with zipped up lips suggesting he will say no more.

The tweet also comes with a photo of Mourinho holding up the Spurs shirt after he was unveiled as the new head coach in north London.

It was probably the right thing for Tony Mount not to say anymore, with his tweet the perfect response to the day's proceedings as it is.
